We co-fermented these two ancient varieties with dramatic results. Decadently floral, yet serious in profile, this wine is intensely aromatic, with notes of honeysuckle and orchard flowers, flavors of ripe kiwi and green melon, and a sharp, mineral-driven finish.
This has been one of our favorite wines of the 2019 vintage, ever since we pressed it. Both Muscat and Malvasia Bianca are super-expressive on the nose, and the aromas leap out of the glass. M+M is a wine for warm-weather sipping. Pair this dry wine with fresh salads, curry dishes, Thai noodle bowls, or a plate of freshly sliced prosciutto and melon with a drizzle of good olive oil.
If you gravitate toward aromatic wines, like Sauvignon Blanc or Torrontés, then this is the next bottle you should open. Now, say it with us: “MUHS-caht and Mahl-vah-ZEE-uh Bee-AHN-cah.”
